The project is implemented by a project team in each of the
four Wadden Sea regions (Denmark, Schleswig-Holstein, Niedersachen and The
Netherlands). The overall coordination is done by the Common Wadden Sea
Secretariat in Wilhelmshaven, Germany.

In each of the regions, the project is closely coordinated with the regional and
local authorities. To assist the project in its work, regional soundboard groups
have been established which consist of representatives of the user groups like
agriculture, tourism industry and relevant local heritage associations.
