2008, an international workshop on goose management was held in Ribe.
The workshop, organized jointly by the Environment Centre Ribe, the
Wadden Sea Forum and the Common Wadden Sea Secretariat was attended
by some 30 representatives from science, agriculture, nature
conservation societies and responsible authorities. A broad
consensus was reached on a long-term international approach how to

 |
An international symposium on intertidal wetlands was held
on 27 October as a supporting event of the 10th
Ramsar Conference in Korea with the Common Wadden Sea
Secretariat as co-organizer.
The symposium underlined that very little of the Yellow Sea

it on an ecosystem scale, as done in the Wadden Sea. The
conclusions from symposium were included as an Annex to the
Ramsar Waterbird Flyway Resolution (Resolution No. 22).
