9th International Scientific Wadden Sea Symposium
Ecosystem Research in the Wadden Sea Area

The triennial international scientific Wadden Sea Symposium started in the 70s and played an important role in the framework of the trilateral cooperation. This years symposium presented results from actual interdisciplinary research as a step to a more holistic approach to the Wadden Sea.
On the basis of the presentations and related discussions, the symposium participants formulated a number of recommendations to the Ministers, responsible for the protection of the Wadden Sea.
