The Common Wadden Sea Secretariat is situated in
Wilhelmshaven, Germany.
The city of Wilhelmshaven is located at the
German North Sea coast directly at the Jade Bight, about 90 km north of
Bremen.
Wilhelmshaven can be reached by plane via Bremen
Airport, by train (connection from Bremen via Oldenburg every hour) or by
car (motorway A29 from Oldenburg, following signs to "Wilhelmshaven
Süd - Helgoland Kai").
The Common Wadden Sea Secretariat (CWSS) ("Gemeinsames
Wattenmeersekretariat") is located directly at the old harbour
("Bontekai, Grosser Hafen") in 5 minutes walking distance from the
train station in the so-called "Havenhaus" (Virchowstrasse1 /
Weserstrasse 78), second floor.
The Administration of the Lower Saxony Wadden National Park ("Nationalparkverwaltung
Niedersächsisches Wattenmeer") is situated in the same building
