Danish architect visits location of future partnership center in Wilhelmshaven

Joyful faces despite the bitter cold: Dorte Mandrup, winner of the international architectural competition for the construction of the trilateral Wadden Sea World Heritage Partnership Center, visited Wilhelmshaven. Together with her co-workers Frants Nielsen, Managing Director, and Daniele Fincato, Project Architect, the Danish architect met with Mayor Andreas Wagner and City Planning Officer Oliver Leinert for contract negotiations and to visit the future construction site at Banter See Park. During the competition's colloquium Mandrup had already visited the location of the future building. The architect will visit Wilhelmshaven again on 22 March, when the official award ceremony will be held. The Lower Saxon Minister of Environment Olaf Lies and the Wadden Sea Board members of the Trilateral Wadden Sea Cooperation are expected to attend the event.
